Recently on our 'Topics in #ForensicBiology' modules we had our annual two weeks at Keele's School of Medicine. In the first of these labs our students are able to work with cadavers (not photographed) for the first time, as well as explore careers in anatomy and mortuary work.

This week on our Advanced Topics in #ForensicBiology module, both our masters and third year students were introduced to histology in #ForensicScience. Their lecture covered the types of histological methods, and in the lab they got to analyse a series of crime scene hard tissues.

She visited campus to discuss and consult with our Dr Chris Aris on his work on the sale of human remains and historical data gathering practices in #BiologicalAnthropology and #ForensicAnthropology. She also visited our #ForensicBiology research labs and met some of our post graduate researchers!
