Applicants across our #ForensicChemistry and #ForensicBiology courses also got the chance to run #DNA lab profiling, #BloodSpatter analysis, and #ForensicAnthropology skeletal analysis according to their particular area of interest 💀🧬🩸

Recently on our 'Topics in #ForensicBiology' modules we had our annual two weeks at Keele's School of Medicine. In the first of these labs our students are able to work with cadavers (not photographed) for the first time, as well as explore careers in anatomy and mortuary work.

The weather is looking up at the weekend, so come join us on our beautiful #keeleUniversity campus for our last #OpenDay of 2025 this Saturday!

This week on our Advanced Topics in #ForensicBiology module, both our masters and third year students were introduced to histology in #ForensicScience. Their lecture covered the types of histological methods, and in the lab they got to analyse a series of crime scene hard tissues.

She visited campus to discuss and consult with our Dr Chris Aris on his work on the sale of human remains and historical data gathering practices in #BiologicalAnthropology and #ForensicAnthropology. She also visited our #ForensicBiology research labs and met some of our post graduate researchers!

She was also able to visit and get a tour of our FATAL Group's #ForensicBiology and #ForensicAnthropology labs facilities. Thank you so much for coming Hebe, we look forward to seeing you soon and continuing to collaborate!
