Can someone tell me what's inside this months #ForteanTimes.

My subscription copy arrived today, but the cat is currently sitting on it in the envelope, and I'm too ill to play "Scratchy-Bitey" today.

My idea of heaven used to be a yearly subscription to the #ForteanTimes. Maybe I should revive this tradition.

The new ish (Dec 2025, 464) of #ForteanTimes has arrived, and it features my Snake Summer article as a Forum contribution. I discuss super-giants, the wonder that is Bothrodon pridii, the tsuchinoko, winged snakes and more. #cryptozoology #herpetology

Checked #forteantimes and reckon the entry is about 60% hallucination, although, rather wonderfully, one of those is implying we have an entire research team cross checking every news piece, when in fact it's just me, a pile of press clippings, and duckduckgo

An upright stack of Fortean Times magazines sits surrounded by oversized occult books and other magazines on top of my book shelf. Issues 163, 166, 191, 193, 201, 220, 227, 230, 244, 247, 251, 253, 264, 386, 401, 402, 405, 406, 415, 453, 461 and 462.

Slowly rebuilding my physical collection of #ForteanTimes again. Last lot got water damaged while being stored in the attic, salvaged what I could but that wasn't much, #ForteanSky. Half the fun is collecting anyway, rooting around in second hand bookshops and such, so I'm not too salty about it.

Eight bagged back issues of Fortean Times, two Marvel UK comics (Die Cut and Digitek) and a sweeping arc of rich brown conkers sit on a light wooden floor.

Here then is my haul from today, #ForteanSky. Eight back issues of #ForteanTimes, two old #MarvelUK comics, and enough #Conkers to carry me through until #Yule. Also got a couple new books too, but I'll save them for another post.
