A nearly full garage on a perfect track day is a good thing. These rides were cooling down quietly awaiting their next scheduled track sessions.

Views from PECATL. Atlanta, GA – a beautiful place to despise for its overpopulation, urban sprawl, and hellish traffic. But it also has beautiful places for a camera to see when passing through.

A Kawasaki motorcycle engine powers this West WX10. Originally designed for IMSA Prototype Challenge racing, it now competes in SCCA's D Sports Racing class, a.k.a. Prototype 2. Painted a metallic Prussian blue, this low-slung, inverted tri-hull racing body looks like a jet fighter cockpit mistakenly parked between two sleek fenders running the full length of the body. That aerodynamic design helps keep the tires stuck to the track surface. Company logos of various sponsors adorn the car body. The number “5” appears in aquamarine in front of the cockpit. The car is centered in the view with its front-end aimed at the viewer. Its removable steering wheel rests on the left just front of the cockpit. The engine air intake rises just above the centerline at the rear of the cockpit. There is no windscreen. No wheels are visible from the front due to the low front splitter. The car's enclosed transport trailer is on the right side. Another car and its trailer appear in the distance on the right. An Armco barrier runs the length of the view to the left. Garages are just beyond the Armco. A maintenance laptop computer sits on the body just to the right of the cockpit. The drivers gloves rest forward of the computer.
