Francis Rossi – Tongue Tied Vrijdag verschijnt _The Accidental_ , het nieuwe album van Francis Rossi. Na het einde van Status Quo leek hij het rustiger aan te gaan doen, maar zijn Britse praatjes-en-muziek-theatertour ging al snel naar Ierland, naar Scandinavië en nu ook naar de rest van Europa. Hij is inmiddels 76, maar hij kan duidelijk het podium niet missen. Van het nieuwe album zijn er vooralsnog alleen audioclips. Dit “Tongue Tied” stond op zijn sololivealbum _Live At St Luke’s London_, maar de studioversie stond op het Status Quo-album _In Search Of The Fourth Chord_.

Francis Rossi – Faded Memory 76 is hij inmiddels, maar stilzitten kan ‘ie nog steeds niet. Eerder dit jaar bracht hij al _The Way We Were, Vol. 1_ uit, met demo’s uit zijn eigen thuisstudio en hij is al een paar jaar bezig met een praten-en-spelen-tour, aanvankelijk alleen in de UK, daarna in Scandinavië en nu in april ook in Nederland. Genoeg te doen, zou je zeggen. Nee hoor, op 30 januari verschijnt er een nieuw album, _The Accidental_. De twee audioclips zijn veelbelovend. Stukken beter dat het laatste soloalbum met nieuw werk, _We Talk Too Much_ met Hannah Rickard. Sinds aanschaf heb ik die volgens mij nog geen vijf keer gedraaid… Maar ja, alleen nog audioclips, dus hier een clip van het soloalbum _One Step At A Time_.
