Wonderful news! Our NJ friend Karim has been released from ICE detention after 9.5 months of being locked up for no reason whatsoever. I'm so happy he's back with his family in Jersey, and so angry that he had to go through that at all.

Our friend, and beloved NJ community member, who was detained by ICE after showing up for a routine paperwork appointment, is still in detention- he was picked up in March. It has been ruled that he cannot be deported, he has no criminal record. He's married to an US citizen. Still held. #FreeKarim
