I heard Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons' 'Walk Like A Man' the other day, and I've been thinking of the final scene in Sleepers since.
It's a brilliant film, with an amazing cast. I haven't seen it in years, and will be rectifying that this weekend.

The weekend before Paddy's Day, so I thought I should go with an Irish one.
It's The Commitments for this week's #FridayFilmPicks.
A brilliant film, that will never get old. It's hilarious, yet authentic. And I still can't believe that Andrew Strong was only 16 when this was filmed. 🤯

This week's #FridayFilmPicks is BlacKkKlansman.

Spike Lee is unmatched in balancing conflict, humour, tension, satire and a powerful message.

The Winter Olympics is over, and even though I only saw about 10 minutes of it, it had me thinking of this film.
I, Tonya is great and Margot Robbie is unreal in it.

I was in the mood for a classic this week and I noticed that today is Kim Novak's birthday - so it absolutely has to be Vertigo.

I saw a clip this week of people discussing the long Copacabana shot in Goodfellas. I love that scene, but it immediately reminded me of the opening of #TouchOfEvil.
It's a great film, and it's ages since I've sat down to watch it, so I'm getting stuck in this weekend.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is this week's #FridayFilmPicks.

I think #Coco is one of Pixar's best.
I've always admired the celebratory sentiment involved with Día de los Muertos, and this film captures is brilliantly.
It's charming, funny, the music is great and you'll do well not to be in pieces by the end.
