Way-marker post replaced in the #CountessofChesterCountryPark today. Joint #FriendsCoCCP & #TCVMerseyside activity. It's on the 2 mile Silva's Trail and the #parkrun A course route.

The #friendscoccp thoroughly enjoyed representing the #CountessofChesterCountryPark at the European Conservation Educators conference at Chester Zoo today. We had delegates from Estonia, Poland, Sweden, United Emirates, United Kingdom, India, Indonesia & Germany chatting to us at our stand.

Sadly the Dipping Platform in #CountessCountryPark has been deemed unsafe. On Friday #FriendsCoCCP & #TCVMerseyside removed the posts & rails & used them to construct a new fence across it. This is part 1 of a project to create a new wetland experience for the community.

Met up with some of the #FriendsCoCCP team at the #ChesterBluecoatCharity building on Northgate today where we witnessed the Christmas Tree lights being switched on (blue of course) then we enjoyed listening to their brass band playing carols.

Elsewhere in the Country Park some of the #FriendsCoCCP had set up a plant stall with donations going to #CyclingWithoutAgeChester who take those with limited mobility around the park and elsewhere .. and at the same time a #FoodBank collection showed just how generous the good folk of Chester are.

Everyone wanted to pose in the sunshine with the Festive Wreaths they made at the #FriendsCoCCP free event in the #CountessCountryPark yesterday.
Next up with these guys is Carols in the Park on Friday at 2pm with the choir of Dee Point Primary .. all are welcome. 🎅
