A Scary TV-Show: #talesfromthecrypt

Not really scary, but it's definitely entertaining, fun & gory 😜, with some nudity here & there too 😉 & speaking of which, I think there are some nipples but just to be safe they are censored. And censoring sucks!
Though there are one or two, maybe three, episodes that actually has a creepy, scary suspense & atmosphere.

Based on the EC Horror Comics of the same name, many of the stories/episodes are actually taken from their other horror anthology comics such as Vault of Horror, Haunt of Fear & Shocking Suspense Stories.
And yes, I've read a few issues & some of the stories that became episodes.

One of my favorite TV-shows & one of my favorites in the anthology genre.

#day22 - #nightofthedemon

It should have been called "Night of the Bigfoot" since this is a movie about a Bigfoot, not a demon!
Though it was originally called "Revenge of Bigfoot", but they changed the title when it turned out that the Bigfoot movie genre (which was popular in the 70's) was starting to not being popular anymore.

Or they could have called it "Night of the Monster" instead since Bigfoot is more of a monster than a demon!

The movie was originally less gory, but the producer shot & added some gory kill scenes without the director knowing & this is one of the rare moments where the producer did something right!
Not only are the gore kills hilarious & memorable, but without it the movie would have been boring! Sure the gore kills made it slightly better, but the movie is technically still not well made, but it's definitely one of the most memorable movies in the Bigfoot genre.

The 2nd title is originally "Your Sister Is A Werewolf", but I prefer the alternative UK name #stirbawerewolfbitch , which is a much, MUCH BETTER 2nd title! "Your Sister.." sounds like a Goosebumps book for crying out loud! 😂😜

The 1st Howling movie is a good movie & one of the best movies in the #werewolf genre, while the sequels (and a reboot?) where not, especially this one.
But this is a so bad it's good type of movie you would watch with friends on a Bad Movie Night, and the gore effects wasn't that bad.

The Howling is based on a book & it also got sequels as well, yet this movie is not based on the 2nd book & the author did actually do the screenplay on this movie at first, but then quit & it was rewritten by another person, using a different script that took out vampires & replaced with werewolves instead (which you can obviously tell!)
Christopher Lee meet Joe Dante, the director of the 1st movie, & apologised to him for being in this movie & said that he would gladly be in a movie directed by Dante as a favour - And that movie was Gremlins 2, a much better movie than this one! 😉

When you look at the original poster (this poster & not the other one that has become more common now) you think this will be an ultra violent Texas Chainsaw Massacre ripoff, but it's more of a dark, sometimes raunchy 😉😏, comedy & it's barely any violence at all.

Though the script was originally darker & more violent, but the director wanted to tone it down & just wanted it to be a dark comedy.
I wouldn't have mind the more violence part, but the original script also had beastiality in it too & that part I'm actually glad they took away from the movie too...🤢

The first time I've heard of #rorycalhoun was in The Simpsons as "The Man Who Can Stand On His Two Legs" (I don't get the joke, but it's still funny 😂😜) & this is by far the only movie I've seen him in (I might have seen him in another movie without knowing it) & even though he most likely only did this movie for the money, he still pulled effort in his performance & it has become one of his most memorable roles 🙂
