A purple fully open aquilegia flower with a yellow centre is suspended in frozen bubbles the partially obscure some of the petals. There is a bud curving up from the base slightly deeper in the ice. The whole image has bubbles and an icy look, with a purple tinge behind the flower but more white around the bud.

You can get some wonderful effects by freezing flowers in ice and then photographing them. You have to be quick, though...
