2 Pink flowers plunged into water and frozen into ice with frozen bubbles encasing them. Some of the petals are brownish coloured. The fine veins are darker. The ice at bottom right is smoother, grey, while above is ice in long crystal shapes.
It's not what you see, it's the way that you see it...
I hope you enjoy seeing another of my abstract frozen flower project photographs. I plunged these into water and froze them before taking the block out and photographing them.

Water swirling like molten metal with colours of blues, silver and dark browns is fringed on the bottom of the frame by frozen ice crystals making different patterns. There is a small patch of bubbles on the left side just at the top edge of the ice.

A purple fully open aquilegia flower with a yellow centre is suspended in frozen bubbles the partially obscure some of the petals. There is a bud curving up from the base slightly deeper in the ice. The whole image has bubbles and an icy look, with a purple tinge behind the flower but more white around the bud.

You can get some wonderful effects by freezing flowers in ice and then photographing them. You have to be quick, though...
