In the #GEF25 Presidential Lecture, chaired by @eboyden3.bsky.social, Stefan Hell presented a conceptual breakthrough, a dramatic shift from the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry on super-resolution: fluorophores no longer need on–off states, effectively nullifying the diffraction barrier.
