Driften af VAP ledes af #GEUS i samarbejde med Institut for Agroøkologi (#AGRO) ved Aarhus Universitet og Institut for Ecoscience (#ECOS) ved Aarhus Universitet. VAP finansieres via Sprøjtemiddelstrategi 2022-2026 af Miljøstyrelsen, der også udvælger, hvilke pesticider, der skal testes på markerne.

Professor at #GEUS @glacierbytes.bsky.social is part of a multiyear project to log and understand whether the biological, chemical and radioactive waste and physical debris left behind when Camp Century closed is at risk of being exposed as the climate warms.

Winter subglacial meltwater detected in a Greenland fjord - Nature Geoscience Temperature and salinity observations from a Greenland fjord suggest that subglacial meltwater is discharged during winter, impacting the fjord heat budget and biological productivity.

Study published in #NatureGeoscience - measurements of Greenland’s glacier fronts - done with a modified drone - show that there is an outflow of freshwater at the glacier fronts in winter. Nanna B. Karlsson, professor at #GEUS, is leader of the project. 👇
