I don't remember if we kept breaking the game, but here's me finally getting the hang of "Air Shotgun Travel" post patch. I wonder if this was still intentional, since to perform it, you have to basically press shoot + jump at the same time at the right time. That is all.

We were missing the last hidden Mandarake room in Cursed Caverns but knew it was behind a locked gate. This was the only thing we looked up so far and it was misleading since we thought what we could do with ice and bodies of water was wrong. Had a hunch it would be in this area though... #GGSotD
Also so far, the game nor its characters explain or react to what these mysterious trees with dead bodies are. Perhaps I still need to explore, but I believe we've found almost every single one...

The game also fails to tell you that this skill is how you get across long bodies of water. At first, I thought we were dumb and had to use ice, but it doesn't work on large areas like this. We stupidly go through these areas by exploiting jumps, dashes, and shotguns in co-op.

The fan service doesn't disappoint. 🙏 Really thought this was only for the Opening movie.

Because of the early Halberd, we reached an area in Cursed Caverns that had a very long body of water that is impossible to cross alone. Our current loadout was 3x mid-air jump and 1x mid-air dash.

For some reason, after defeating the miniboss, the 1st Servant Soul you're officially suppose to get is missing, but I picked one up in the area with co-op so that could be why. We returned to that one and it re-appeared for some reason (not shown.) 5/

Did not resume back up save the next day as I said. Continued yesterday after the update and Forest of Forlong Fog now runs at ~60fps on the Switch (thank God.) I also didn't notice they added these arrow signs everywhere. 1/

Since we were able to get here and save the game, I decided to update it to the latest patch (1.2.1.) Kind of curious to continue exploring but no bones are dropping and thus, no new abilities, making it boring. Will resume the backup save tomorrow. 9/9.

Took some pictures of the Limited Edition as well. I liked that you are greeted with Kirika and Masha on each flap. The acrylic keychain that's inside is tiny. The inside game case is also depressing as hell. No artwork whatsoever.
