Image of a finch app bird dressed in a white robe wearing a white and gold starry mask with matching shoes. The bird "Crowley" is standing on a navy circular rug with a yellow crescent moon and some small stars on it. The floor is dark blue and the wall has navy starry wallpaper on it. Hanging on the wall are some plants that look similar to our solar system. Next to "Crowley" is a floating star micropet. The idea is he's floating in space

Screenshot of Art by NavyBird. A surreal painting with an art nouveau poster inspiration. The Starmaker angel Crowley from Good Omens is tall and slender, his head tilted back to watch the stars he's creating disperse into the universe. His arms are open wide, with one low and cradling three newborn stars (which are shaped like classic playing card diamonds), while the other hand is lifted high over his head as if he's thrown some stars up and that is where the two yellow streaks come from. Small white classic five-point stars float and dance around his long white robes and impressive arching white wings. The wings mirror the positions of his arms. The over color palette is cool tones of blue, pale blue, navy blue, and indigo, with some white and yellow, and red for Crowley's shorn short hair. A moon rises perfect and pearly in the background, with other planets nearby. Swirls and filigree reach down, create a large window effect. The stars glow, and the tone of the piece is joyful but still a bit mysterious, as if we have caught this star creature at work in the night and he doesn't notice us.

I've not had time to write/draw something for this. However, I couldn't pass on honouring NavyBird. Finch starmaker Crowley.

I had the privilege of betaing two of Navy's graphic novel scripts, the stories of which & her art will stay with me forever. I'm so sorry Navy ๐Ÿ’™
