sat in coffeeshop, blocking out the noise of chatter with @christine-ott.bsky.social & Mathieu Gabry's "Nanook of the North (live 10.12.19)" while working on #gsfwc40

today was a good day. made a submission, updated submission grinder. worked on edits for 4 people as part of #GSFWC40, all good progress in the greater scheme of things. spent time with friends, ate cake, caught up.
TTW you're a Glasgow writer and you're working with Glasgow writers and you're all trying to find clever new names for alt-2ndary-Glasgows. #writing #critting #GSFWC40 #glasgow
I'm on holiday this week. So far I had a long lie, watched a squirrel run along the fence while waiting for kettle to boil, made pot of tea, had porridge, read and listened to relaxing music. I've got #GSFWC40 reading to do, I plan to have everything read this week, as well as holiday entertainments
TTW you've got a project, invited contributors and are hours away from the deadline, so you're pacing back and forth and constantly checking your email for updates! #GSFWC40
In 2016 we also did another anthology - Thirty Years of Rain - which is still available, marking 30 years of the @gsfwc.bsky.social - wow, nearly 10 years ago! My story is about the end of the world, and witches looking for hope. I do like a theme!

You know what? Now seems a good day remind people that Gallus exists. A collective anthology by members of the @gsfwc.bsky.social community, put together for the Glasgow Worldcon. My story is about the end of the world, and witches looking for hope. #gallus #gsfwc40
