An RPG with lots of text needs a nice, big, readable font (looking at you, Xenoblade Chronicles X)! Today I raised Uprooted's default font size (now well above the recommended 28px), and people who need even bigger text can increase the size, too!

It's unfortunate that The Game of the Year frontrunner is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
While unique and stunning, it's one of the least accessible games I've ever played in terms of combat. The parrying frustrated even the most skilled gamers I know.

"One size fits one", I love this quote from Bryce Johnson's talk on adaptive and inclusive controllers for video games. But to build this, we indeed need to think beyond our own assumptions. And recognize that not everyone can use the controller with 2 hands.

TLDR: I finally checked out the example project in Unity and tried the accessibility plugin. Neat stuff, but of course you need to put in more work to make your game fully accessible 👇
I'm tightening up my controller support on #MidnightAsphalt (a lot of people prefer controllers and some require them. #GameAccessibility is your friend, peeps) and I'm really impressed with the way #GodotEngine handles control node navigation out of the box. The Neighbor system is great
