Buff Tailed Bumblebee enjoying my surprise flower. No idea what they are.
White and purple ones which grew to around 3’ tall! They look a bit ridiculous where they’re planted but the bees absolutely love them!

Harlequin Ladybird Larvae on a green leaf. It has a black armour like body with orange spikes on its back. It’s on a very bright green leaf of a Hydrangea. It’s jagged edges are in front of a stone wall.
The Harlequin Ladybird is an invasive species from Asia which arrived in the UK in 2004. It’s a large one so it does out compete our native ladybirds 🐞

A delicate pink cluster of blooms on Dog Rose bush. They have yellow centres and varied shades of pink on the petals. Dark green leaves showing behind.
