Black and white image of a concrete structure in the Brutalist style. In the right-hand foreground is a large concrete wall that has the horizontal wood plank impressions. One section of the wall protrudes several inches, so the side facing the light is light-colored and the shadow on the other side is dart. The lighting in the photo is very strong and coming from the right hand side. There is a lot of contrast with shadows and light. There are some arches which are in the shadow as well, and through the arches is the sky with puffy white clouds. Mottled sunlight/shadows are on the ground.

Geisel Library at UCSD. This is an old photo I took while I was a student there. I spent many hours in that library and always loved the style, even though I'm not normally a fan of the Brutalist movement.
