Operations are concluding at the #GeorgesDock fire

🚒 Crews used thermal imaging and damped down hotspots overnight

🌉 The bridge is being assessed but remains closed

4️⃣ At its height four fire engines and other units were on scene

The fire at #GeorgesDock has now been brought under control and we've begun to scale back the response

Smoke is visible in the area and we are damping down

Keyholders and facility managers:

We are asking all keyholders of buildings within the IFSC to make their way to the cordon on the Busaras side of the scene. They will then be escorted to assist in building safety checks.

Firefighting operations are continuing and we now have four fire engines, a foam tender and water tanker at the scene.

We've augmented water supplies to the fireground by taking water from the River #Liffey.
