Today I have a special deep sea fish that I want to share with you. This crocheted miniature represents an oarfish, which is a quite mysterious creature and I just loved it when I first saw one!

⚠️ 1/3 Today a deceased 8m adult Minke Whale washed up on Balmedie Beach.
Sadly it was heavily entangled in rope, it’s state of decomposition meant that a necropsy couldn’t be undertaken.
