A close up of the boundary between the bark and the wood. Please excuse the chromatic aberration, I'm using a cheap lens. One day I'll be able to upgrade to a nicer lens that does better around the edges.
Took my first gigapixel photo! Only took 2.5 hours and 899 photos to make it. It's a spruce tree cross section that is ~58mm in diameter. I'm still working on the best way to stitch the images, so there's a few visible seams.
