You are said to be able to give #GithubCopilotChat custom instructions in a file called copilot-instructions.md and you can put them there, but it won't obey them worth beans.

It would be sad for all life to end, but if it die, nothing would have to suffer the misery of #Microsoft #VisualStudio plus #GithubCopilotChat again, so from a utilitarian point of view it's a huge win. The *ultimate* win!
