Anyone have any clue where I can get a measuring tape for sea ice in Europe? The only supplier I have found is the very lovely and friendly Kovacs, but they are US based and the cost and time for delivery are crazy.

The frame is filled entirely with heavily crevassed and fractured glacier ice, showing roughly 400 vertical feet of the icefall. The ice displays complex textures including folded horizontal striations representing annual accumulation layers compressed and deformed during glacial flow, deep crevasses, and towering seracs in the upper portion of the frame. Blue glacial ice is visible in the deeper crevasse walls at lower left. Rocky moraine debris is visible at the very bottom right of the frame.

The Gabriel Icefall on the Gulkana Glacier, Eastern Alaska Range. About 400 vertical feet of ice in this frame. The striations are annual accumulation layers that become folded during flow.
