Hubble Space Telescope image of the Necklace Nebula (PN G054.2-03.4), a planetary nebula in the constellation Sagitta. The nebula's striking appearance is due to the bright knots of glowing gas and red jets emanating from a central binary star system. The nebula is approximately 5,000 years old and spans about 5 light-years.
