This #BlackFriday we're proud to announce that our #GoodLifeSchools programme - challenging the relentless pressure on young people to consume - has officially launched in Wales.

"I feel like my phone is an object working against me to help sell me products to make me feel insecure."

"I personally feel like we are way more vulnerable to trends because we are surrounded by peers trying to show off. 'Oh, I bought a new thing. Oh, I've got this.' And you just feel like you're trying so hard to catch up. It's just an endless cycle for me."

"I think that there is a problem with advertising, especially when it targets and puts pressure on young people to look or own certain things. It can make many people feel really self-conscious about themselves."

This #BlackFriday, we're sharing some thoughts on the pressure to consume, as told to us by young people we work with.
