I’m rewatching the documentary “Happy Shiny People” about the cult Church the Duggars were in. Its official name was Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP). I’m curious if there were any Black member families? All the pictures from the 80’s & 90’s I’ve seen, it’s only White folks. #Gothard

Conservative leader Bill Gothard on leave following abuse allegations (RNS) Bill Gothard's Institute in Basic Life Principles was once a popular gathering spot for thousands of Christian families, including the Duggar family from TLC’s "19 Kids and Counting.”

Reading through this years afterwards is mind blowing. I wasn’t paying attention in 2014. Seems like this would have been bigger because it was the Duggars (of TV show infamy) church.
