I've cooked and eaten our second Gousto meal kit.
Meatballs in onion gravy with mashed potatoes and crispy kale.
Far too much faffing about for me.
It went down ok, and there was plenty of it.
Apart from the packaging the only other waste was some of the kale that I couldn't get in the air fryer [β¦]
I've cooked and eaten a splendid chicken risotto meal kit from Friday's Gousto delivery.
More 'cooking' than I'm used to but the instructions were clear and there was no waste other than the packaging.
It took a bit longer to prepare & cook than the instructions suggested.

They've just been delivered.
The delivery by DPD was bang on schedule, the box was undamaged. The contents were in great condition with the [β¦]
Love to get an email from #Gousto, 3 days after my box arrives, to say an ingredient I've already eaten is "not be safe for consumption" πΆ

Well after a month of #Gousto, I prefer the range offered over #HelloFresh. Wish the recipes came in separate bags though - oh and I may have to start buying garlic again since I am not getting a garlic bulb for every garlic clove required.

Would never recommend them at full price cause they're pretty expensive imho (as are most meal delivery services) but if you find a decent discount, worth trying π
Asian-ish night at Casa Deadman. Crispy tofu with pak choi and peanut sauce. Pleasantly spicy, but Iβm not a huge fan of the super-firm tofu texture. Gimme momen-dofu any day. #Gousto
Trying out our first #gousto recipe box - Hot Red Pepper Soup & Cheese Melts. We repurposed the ciabattas into croutons and added half the cheese into the soup (donβt knock it βtil youβve tried it). Easy recipe, pretty well-explained. The quantities were perfect.
