Newman's mathildana, a type of moth on a a green leaf. The moth is mostly black with two yellow stripes. Its antennae are long and sticking straight up. It is a long thin moth. The tip of the tail is yellow with a black stripe.

An orange sulphur butterfly on a red clover. The clover is a brilliant pink atop a tall stem, with some leaves at the bottom left of the photo. Another clover is blurred in the bottom right corner in the background. The butterfly is yellow with a line of brown dots toward the edge of the tail. It also has a couple of white spots surrounded by pink in the center of its wings. There are a couple of brown dashes on the wings just under its head and another white spot surrounded by black at the top edge. The top of its head is a fuzzy brown, and the eyes are yellow. The antennae are medium length.

A large lace border moth resting on a dark green leaf. Its wings are fully spread out. The moth is mostly an off-white color, but with a few yellowish lines crossing wings near its head and just below its abdomen. There is a thick grey line crossing near the bottom and another thinner brownish line under that. There are also two black dots near the edges of the wings over the middle line and two closer to the body under it. It has a very small head and antennae, which go out to the side.

Chicken of the woods, a type of shelf fungus. The picture shows several of the fan-shaped fungi stacked upon each other. They are orange at the base and that stretches out across most of the fungus. There is a wide white or tan bar toward the edge and a light orange line at the outer edge. There are about nine visible in the shot, with the largest one in the middle, a couple under that, and some smaller ones atop and to the left of the large one.
