Well that was a tad brutal! But the #MightyHike around the #GowerPeninsula in aid of #macmillancancer is done! Rain finally stopped at 21 miles, and some of those hills/cliffs were something else, but seriously happy with 8h55 with 40 mins worth of stops! #Hiking #Walking

With under 6 weeks until my marathon hike around the #GowerPeninsula for @macmillancancer todays #Walk was about speed, getting the miles in & some nostalgia around some old haunts! #ThoseThatKnowKnow. Well happy with 18.5 miles in under 5 hours and with time for a cuppa en-route!

A cold, wet & very muddy 10 miler today in prep for the #Marathon #UltraHike in support of @macmillancancer in July, around the #GowerPeninsula.
Had a visitor at my stop at #Junction8Cafe & he enjoyed some of my #SausageRoll before we both departed, some good hill climbs but roll on better weather!

Today was about distance & speed, in preparation for my #Marathon Mighty hike around the #GowerPeninsula in aid of @macmillancancer in July.Well happy with 21 miles in under 6 hours, from #HamptonCourt, #TheLongWater, #HomePark, #Kingston, around #RichmondPark, then back down the #TowPath! Now rest!

A tough 16 mile training hike today. From frozen uneven mud tracks to bog, but seriously happy with under 5 hours considering the ground & hills! Interesting rock erosion patterns on the beach in the Gower peninsula. The rock feels and looks organic. The rock is grey, and textured with many curves but is rough to the touch. There is sand to the right with a mix of blue sky and grey clouds above.
