The interior of Granite Butte Lookout tower, returned to how it was before I entered it. I swept the floor. I chopped wood,to replace the wood I used. I reattached the shutters. Always treat these places with respect, they’re maintained for our benefit.

I left the Lookout today- It was an amazing experience, and I really didn’t want to leave it, but my reservation was up.
Next year, I will come back to this one. Too good to never return again-even with the wind.

Hey Everybody! It’s me again, the man who camps on Weekends!

Well, today is Friday…I took the day off, and made the climb up to a place I had reserved months in advance. This is new to me. I’ve never done the kinds of trails I just did to get up here.
