The young dark-haired woman is depicted from behind. She is wearing her hair braided and pinned up, her long white dress with a row of small buttons down the back is only half closed because she has more important things to do. She is holding her small child in her arms and watching him sleep. (The photo shows the surrounding area with other ugly concrete high-rises and a few green trees.) Info: The mural was inspired by a poem by Gabriela Mistral with the same title. It is a kind of lullaby. The poem is written on the wall under the mural (not visible in this photo).
