Mr. Otto, an adorable cat with long, fluffy gray fur, is nuzzling up against my chest as I pet him. This is most unusual, as his ordinary habit at this stage of receiving pets is to place a single paw on my chest and gently, but firmly, extend his claws.

Stardate: 13 February 2025. Mr. Otto has chosen to go directly into snuggle mode, forgoing his usual routine of poking a series of tiny holes in me, first to request and then as as a gesture of "thanks" for, receiving scritches.
