@philllaws1981.bsky.social, see my quote-repost to the post announcing the poll 👇.
Holding a seat and increasing a majority ARE reasons for celebration (especially when Greens lead that council).
As is the fall in confidence in Labour since it has shown its true colours.

Stroud District Council has been led by Greens since 2022 (24 councillors out of 51 since 2025). Evidently, constituents think that they're doing a good job.

Well done 👏 Roderic. Not only did Green Party introduce the €70,000 dereliction grant but also allocated €60,000 p.a. to local authorities to pay for a vacant homes officer and supports. There is no excuse for a local authority to have a vacant home in their area! #GreensDeliver, #FFFG don’t.

Green Party councillor Áine Groogan stands smiling in front of a vibrant, colourful festival float with golden, orange, and red decorations resembling sunbursts and masks. At the top, bold pink text reads: “CULTURE NIGHT IS BACK!” with the Green Party logo above. A large red banner across the middle says “PASSED!” in white letters. At the bottom, green script text reads: “Cllr Áine Groogan” and a hashtag says: “#GreensDeliver.” Small text below shows the publisher as Green Party NI, with a join link: “https://greenpartyni.org/join”.
