My parents would always give me and my sis vday candy growing up. Even as adults. Idk it's just one of those sweet gestures my family does.

August is weird. First birthday without my sister.

We used to be so annoying as kids claiming “its my birth month” all the time.

My bday will be the 9 month anniversary of her death

I am in a pit.
Did I fall in?
Or was I born in it?

I cannot see an exit.

Plowing through Star Trek TOS episodes after learning Clint Howard (the child commander who hid behind the scary puppet in “The Corbomite Maneuver”) was born 2 weeks before me. I watched each new TOS episode with my dad, so it reminds me how young I was then; how young we both were. #griefposting
