Griselda doesn't know their father but their mother was their early life's anchor. Having taken them from Tural to Thavnair in an effort to give them a childhood away from conflict, the two lived together until Gris's 18th birthday, where she considered them capable of independence #grislore

Accepted Endless Sphene's affection. They knew it wasn't anything real, that she wasn't real, but a homunculus designed to be the perfect queen for her subjects combined with the stress of barely keeping it together for the sake of others made Gris mentally weak. #grislore

Something Gris is tender on is scars. In their younger days, they saw them as marks of shame, vain in their accomplishments as a frontline fighter yet bearing none themselves. Naturally, having something like your arms scarred both physically & aetherically makes you a bit more empathetic #grislore

It's not something they think about really. They take care of it & treat it with respect & if that happens to catch someones eye, they're grateful for it. They're a bit sensitive about the size of their ears, having been teased about them in their youth, though they'd never admit it. #grislore

Gris is reserved about touching people in public, so it's hard to imagine but in more closed off & intimate spaces like their guild hall & friends homes, they're very open. Hugs as greetings, hooking fingers into yours, soft squeezes on your shoulders. Their touch is gentle but meaningful. #grislore

Extremely struck by Hilda upon their arrival in Ishgard but stayed lost in their work.
