Insects tell us which flowers they prefer .. here are 3 yellow flower on April 2nd on my #allotment.
Flower number 3/4 may be lovely 2 human eyes but it is always empty .. no sweet nectar or nutritious pollen—or any number of things that pollinators like.

This one small hump of #WildMarjoram is a real haven for butterflies, moths, hoverflies & other flies, flower beetles + tiny creatures such as ants, aphids & spiders. In turn they help feed our birds, esp in the nesting season.
