A Rogue Trader era plastic Imperial Guardsman done as a test for the theme & scheme of the entire army force. I wanted something fast and simple, while still looking nice!

I think I'll make 'em the Phyruss 7th, 8th and 13th regiments.

Here's a late something for #Guardvember. I was rummaging today and found this. I made her in about 2005 as a Lieutenant for a mechanised army. Head from Hasslefree, greenstuff hair. Base mini shaved down ever so slightly to alter proportions.

Maybe I'll paint her some time.

All in all this was a great first 2k game debut by my guard. I forgot to deploy my Demolisher and yet the sturdiness of my list prevailed anyway in my most significant victory to date for The 195th of Toranaga Prime. 🫡

But what i learned from my guard here is that they may not pack a huge bunch individually but if they survive long enough across 5 turns they'll win you the game via death by 1000 cuts.

The Aeldari proved many times more in this battle of being able to take a hit. All those invulnerable saves came up clutch for my bro more often than his regular armor saves too even haha

One major miscue i had was failing to bring this fucker down in turn 2 with all 3 of my major tanks firing at it. That included 12 Multi Melta shots. Brutal. But luckily finished it off with Overwatch on his turn.
