Today at the #H20Summit 2025, ECO President Csaba Dégi joined global leaders to discuss how countries can follow through on the G7 pledge to eliminate cervical cancer.

He stressed that this is one goal that is real and deliverable – but only if we act with urgency, equity, and data-based evidence.

Thrilled to be in Geneva at the @who.int for the #H20Summit, in my role as a rapporteur, presenting our important report on the interplay between non-communicable diseases and mental health to the conference and working with @drtedros.who.int.

WMA is proud to join the 2025 #H20Summit.
Dr. @drtedros.who.int, @who.int DG, highlighted the need for UHC, sustainable domestic health budgets, and reaffirmed that health is a human right.
