Three drawings from sketch club. Two are stylised snowflakes and a piece with three Christmas trees drawn on it - the first tree is green with a googly eye at the apex, the second consists of pink branches with the word 'Fairy' glued above it, the third is cloud shaped with a silver star sticker stick above it.

A picture taken out of the staffroom window so that the light bounces back and some of the library staffroom can be seen. There is a sunset over the Oldham way in shades of pink, blue, and gold. A skeletal tree is in the foreground.

Looking for those glimmers of hope. The view from the library staff room. Gorgeous sunset and the Oldham Way. #HEinFE #librarylife

A corner of our HE Library. Main focus is on the Banned Books display which includes books such as Maus, Dan Brown, and To Kill a Mockingbird. The rest of the library can be seen with various comfy seats, a photocopier, and the Study Booth at the other side of the room.

Quiet-ish today with a few students and the DnD club in. Chatting with students, I love the snippets of stories we're told at our small but mighty uni campus. Last day of our Banned Books display before we go full Halloween on the library next week 🎃 👻 🎃 #HEinFE #librarylife

PowerPoint slide with an image of Sean Bean playing Boromir with the phrase"Over does not simply Google the answer" in the image. Text on slide: Searching for Research. Graphic Design Final Year :-). And a quote from Robin Nelson at the bottom: " locate your praxis in a lineage of similar practises. Relate the specific enquiry to broader contemporary debate (through reading an exposition of ideas with references)." (Nelson, 2013, p. 29).
