I got failover WAN working last month. pfSense cuts over to the cable connection whenever the fiber goes down. Today I learned #pfSense also has dynamic DNS integration with #Cloudflare API, so now my DNS changes too and all my external services stay up, including #WireGuard VPN. #homelab #selfhost

I can find a refurbished 10gb 48 rj45 slot managed switch at a much better price in ebay than a 5 slot managed switch (new) at Amazon. 48 slots may be an overkill for a #homelab but one has to be frugal in this economy!
