Why do you have to reboot #mikrotik to get #ipv6 working??? I was wondering why it wasn't working when it should've and all it needed was reboot. Turns out it tells you to reboot when changing IPv6 settings. How come everything else you can change without reboot???
Turns out it's not android's fault, the #mikrotik is not getting a IPv6 SLAAC address at all, I don't understand why. Accept Router Advertisements is yes, IPv6 firewall is disabled, what else could it be?????????

Heh, seems #Mikrotik doesn’t do WDS wireless bridging with #OpenWRT. So if I buy it I’ll be left with a “pseudobridge” doing MAC translation (a bridge on IP layer but doing additional lookup work on the link layer). No idea how much this hurts performance but doesn’t sound so good…
Decided to dive into network engineering/devops. I've replaced my old reliable TP-Link router with MikroTik. Wifi is slightly worse and I've already had to reset the router twice. Setting up wifi for IoT was kind of an adventure.
A bit terrified. SO COOL!!!

Back from the office, with the #MikroTik #Chateau 5G - the coverage isn't great here, only 4G, but constantly having 50/20 mbit/sec. More than enough until they'll restore the connections.

Eu comprei o seguro pq o #MikroTik antigo simplesmente ficou ruim.
Não tem mais atualização de firmware pro antigo.
E como não tem nobreak e eu tô quase debaixo da linha do equador, as quedas de energia e a temperatura elevada podem diminuir a vida útil do bicho.
