I picked up a new cup from local potter Yagi Hiroyuki at Shinkaigama.
It is big and chunky with Hagiyaki aesthetics.
I love the way the glaze highlights the carved facets.
I broke it in with oyuwari sweet potato shochu from Kokubu Shuzo that was made in 2007, bottled in 2009.
