Finally finished machine piecing this not-my-favorite-fabrics top. Not only the print but the black frayed terribly. Hate to do it but leftover fabric will be tossed.
Now it's going in my #worksinprogress basket under another two tops waiting their turn to be sandwiched and #handquilted.

A colorful stripey version of a double wedding ring quilt, with wide stripey sashing between the rings, very whimsical and lots of movement. Every set of stripes is a different color combination. It's a nod to the games we play in a marriage (subconsciously, or not) ... and not knowing which way to go.

An “around the world” traditional quilt that is sixteen inches by thirteen and a half inches. Fifteen bands of fading color, from lavender to peach to dusky purple to maroon to teals, progress outward from a center square of a quarter square triangle made of bright red and white. Each square is about 3/4” square. All solid cotton fabrics. The binding is white with X stitches in red and peach thread.
The same “around the world” small quilt in process. Rae’s white left strong hand is placed next to the quilt for scale (about half the length of the quilt) and Rae is sitting on the couch next to the quilt in a baggy burnt orange button down.
