Casablanca! What a city! This was my first time in the Moroccan mega city, where I discovered the beautiful Hassan II mosque, I saw the beautiful sacred Heart Cathedral and I found Rick’s café from the old Humphrey Bogart movie Casablanca!

Built over the water on piers, the gigantic mosque looms large on the landscape. Minaret climbing nearly 700ft into the cloudy sky
Interior main hall, stone tile floor extending far into the distance, vaulted traditional cedar ceiling with intense geometric forms, lit by gigantic chandeliers.
