The rock carvings (petroglyphs) are thought to be 300 to 500 years old.
The petroglyphs include whales among other pictures from nature, objects, and symbols. This black and white photo includes an Orca (also known as Killer Whale), and two oval masks.
The part of the beach where these rocks are located can only be reached at low tide.
