Death after man's methadone dose changed Two people had their therapeutic methadone doses changed by Te Whatu Ora against their will, with one man dying of an overdose only six weeks later.

What actions are open for sanction or retraining of #HealthNZ staff or pharmacists if they cause someone's death?

Apparently punitive action cancelled Mr A's methadone prescription. After 30 years stable use that cancellation caused his death 6 weeks later.
