#OTD in 1944 my uncle Harm perished when #HellShip #Hofuku_Maru was torpedoed and sank off the Philippines by planes of US TF38. Of the 1289 #FEPOW on board, 242 survived this #disaster.

I'm really immersed in creating the comic, so no new finished pictures :(

On This Day 79 Years Ago began the trial in Singapore of the Japanese who beheaded the Indian POW Sepoy Mohd Shafi
The man tagged as No2 in the image was sentenced to be hanged.
