Welsh born Captain Sir #HenryMorgan and his #privateer (or #pirate) armada attacked Spanish #Panama. Morgan’s forces routed the Spanish garrisons and plundered Panama City. Spain protested, but Morgan was treated as a hero, knighted & was even named Lt. Governor of Jamaica.
