I tie Hex becoming the WoL to her kidnapping, so if she wasn't WoL, she wouldn't have been & would have just at some point finally left her home of her own volition. She still loves exploring & gathering ofc & eventually ends up becoming a Gleaner, training under Erenville.

Her family transforming does happen an AU, where Hex returns to check on them & having seen some warders already transformed on her way, agrees to be a tribute to the Great Tree due to having abundant aether (that’s not getting her sick) in order to protect the village.⤵️

Hex wouldn’t take a side, unless there was a side that was being particularly vile (in which case, she’d align against them). She wouldn’t run to a neutral territory either, knowing what’d be out there. She’d instead focus on protecting & aiding civilians who are getting caught up in it.

Hex wouldn’t have been kidnapped and while it would’ve taken a some years (probably SHB or EW era), Hex would still eventually decide to leave her home (but less devastatingly to her & her family).
Her interest in Botany & Mining would lead her into becoming a Gleaner.

Definitely Alisaie. She’s competitive af & Hex knows there are a lot of ?’s Alisaie would choose wings over, so it’d be funny to tease her about it (nvm fact that Hex would also likely choose burning wings over burning ?’s, though she’d probably fare better or at least show the pain less)

Hex comes off as a troublemaker- doesn’t pay attention in class (the one class she’s good at is PE), aloof, doesn’t wear her uniform right, always gets (pulled) into trouble, etc.
But she’s a good kid at heart & willing to help those in need.

As a gatherer, Hex would do really well with prize tasks.
However, she’d definitely have a couple moments where she’s replay cam’d & her foot’s over the line on the previously recorded tasks, later fully expecting the replays.⤵️

It takes her a bit to realize, but when she spots him targeting someone else, Thancred would get tackled & chicken winged⤵️

In timelines Hex makes it home (aka the bad ones), her mother pushes for Hex to be accepted by the village.
Pre-SHB Bad AU, her mother kills herself before Black Rose reaches the village due to the village rejecting & choosing to hunt down the “intruder”.⤵️

Hex is ok with it because it’s Thancred (just acting mostly normal) but they argue over who has greater plot armor (we all know, but Hex still somehow thinks otherwise). They stick together through various quests working to figure out how to get their bodies back⤵️

Hex's main bad endings involve her going home, though they vary on when she does it.
Pre-SHB: Hex helps out with Ivalice (& then some maybe..?) & knowing how close she is to home, & decides everything for everyone would be better once she returns to the jungle.

Both Thancred & Ardbert would be retired idols (for different reasons, 😭)
Hex would be Thancred’s fan as she rises in fame, wishing she could join him. After Thancred retires & becomes a dad, he becomes a HUGE Hex fan & sometimes steps out of retirement to join her.⤵️
