The flood marker is inside the duomo museum and my smiling partner is stood next to it smiling. He's wearing glasses and all grey, and holding a blue raincoat with a bag of venchi chocolates stashed in the pocket. The flood marker is at my partners eye level...and he is 6ft 1!

In 1601, the golden ball on top of the Duomo's structure, was struck by lightning and fell from the dome...this white marble circle marks the spot it fell. Such a fun little hidden gem. #HiddenFlorence #ExploreTuscany
